Hawks 55th Anniversary Celebration Day – Sunday September 19th
HETHERSETT HAWKS / YELLOW BRICK MORTGAGES have announced the date of their 55th Anniversary Celebration Day – Sunday September 19th. The day will also feature the Breckland Autos Charity Cup, one of the longest running invitation events. As regular racing is still very much scarce for some it has been decided to open up the invitations to everyone in the UK who is aged 13 or above so any rider who is interested please contact the Club at Hethersetthawks@outlook.com
The format for the day will start at 10 a.m. with the first four hours open for a reunion of ex-riders with some ad hoc racing challenges and novelty competitions. The Club looks forward to seeing lots of ex-members to come help the celebrations. At 2 p.m. the Club’s Under-13 riders take to the track for a special handicap event based on age – a chance for everyone to see the full range of our successful youth set-up. The Charity Cup will commence at 4 p.m.
All proceeds from the day will be shared between the Orchid Charity (male prostrate cancer charity supported by the Eurovets series) and the Hawks own Development Fund planning improved facilities at the track.
